Relationship : client – manager – bank


The security of a tripartite relationship:

 

The client opens an account with one of our partner custodian banks. The client signs a discretionary power of administration authorising the bank to accept Suntrust's management instructions, excluding any withdrawal of the funds.

 

Through the privileged relationship between the client and its appointed manager, a network of specialists is made available according to the evolution of the requirements of the client.

 

Through its privileged relationship with its appointed manager, each client has access to a complete network of specialists evolving jointly with the requirements of the client.

 

The relationship between the client and Suntrust is governed separately by a set of conventions: management profile, risk profile, tariff, LEFin classification, etc.). These agreements strictly comply with the legal framework in force.

 

 

Organisation and structure

 

In order to offer its clients an impeccable service, Suntrust provides its asset managers with an optimal environment to practice their profession securely and efficiently.

 

To that end, the company has :

 

  • An international network of correspondents operating in the main financial centres;
  • Its own analysis department, responsible for developing in-house investment policy;
  • State-of-the-art technological equipment;
  • A self-sufficient IT infrastructure to consolidate data from multiple sources.

 

This ensures uniform and comprehensive risk control, as well as confidentiality and quality of management reporting.

 

Security

 

For Suntrust, security is a priority. It is ensured by :

 

  • The reputation of the custodian banks with which clients' accounts are opened, guaranteeing them absolute control of their capital at all times;
  • Optimal separation of powers: Suntrust has no right of disposal over its clients' assets. The only authentic account statements are issued by the custodian banks;
  • The rigour of a triple control exercised by the internal audit structure, the statutory auditors, as well as the AOOS (supervisory body of the SAAM) which ensures compliance with the legal framework governing the profession;
  • The quality of a fully integrated internal IT organisation, thereby protecting the confidentiality and integrity of data.
